Bismarck Size:M25 A good bittersweetA cooking apple with high vitamin C content. Crisp and juicy with white astringent flesh and a sharp flavour. Makes a great puree. Medium sized green apples with a red russet flush. Harvest in October and can store throughout winter. Very reliable, heavy cropping tree with good frost resistance. Thought to have come from Bismarck, Tasmania, in 1870.
