Old Japanese Chagama Kama and Furo for use in the Tea Ceremony antique southwest jewelry Pakistan near the Afghan BorderThe Furo and Chagama were both artisan crafted from cast iron whilst the lid with a chrysanthemum like flower was created from polished copper and is smooth from use and with a genuine patina. Kantsuki rings allowed the metal vessel to be handled and moved during preparation and for the ceremony itself. A little rust, traces of wear and a deep rich overall patina show this piece was actually used. approximately 12" high (not including the lid) 12"
